Description
Waiting for Godot
written by Samuel Beckett
directed by Robert Cohen, 2011
for the Robert Cohen Theatre Festival
photography by Paul Kennedy

This production was based on Dr. Cohen's most recent discovery - the meaning of the word "knook" which Beckett always claimed had no meaning. It turns out this is a type of elf from The Adventures of Santa Claus, a very popular children's book during Beckett's childhood. Thus we have the inner child (Gogo), the wearied soul (Didi), about to meet the subconscious nostalgia of Beckett's jaded childhood memories.
I designed the costumes, not the shot! Please visit Paul Kennedy's website to see his photography! <3

I saw this play performed by the Gate Theatre of Ireland. I loved it! I saw Endgame, too. Nice photo.
